Hello, I'm trying to install libsmi-0.2.16 on my Linux system. Everytime I do a 'make check' I fail the smidump-orig-smiv2.test (it says that the output differs). Does anyone know what sort of thing would be causing me to get this error? Any help would be greatly apreciated. Thank you. Jeramie

Could you please post or send to me the *.diff file(s) in the test/smidump-orig-smiv2.out directory. These files contain the differences between the expected smidump output (taken from test/dumps/orig-smiv2) and the actually generated output.
Maybe, the diffs are not problematic. Another reason might be, that the diff program that is used for this comparison and which is located on your system during the configure run, is not appropriate for these tests.
