It appears that smidump turns the variable list defined in a NOTIFICATION-TYPE into a dict. This seems fine on the surface, but does not preserve ordering of the variables. As per section 8.1 of RFC 2578, the sequence of variables should be ordered. Is there a known workaround for this?
