Hello,
I just checked out the scli package from CVS. Because I have the
environment variable CVSREAD set (company policy) all source files are
checked out read only.
I use
aclocal; autoconf; automake -a
to rebuild the ./configure package and get the following error from
automake:
Can't call method "close" on an undefined value at /usr/bin/automake
line 7751.
This is because automake wants to create stamp-h.in which is read only
because it is under CVS control.
I think it is not necessary to have stamp-h.in CVS because it is a
generated file and suggest to remove it from the repository.
Best regards,
W. Fritz
