Hello,
We have problems with the installation of scli version 0.2.12 which
relate to the GLIB
version and location of the glib.h file.
The environment in which we want to install SCLI consists of a Sun
Solaris 8 system and
the GLIB files are located under "/Window/X11/contrib/include/glib-1" and
"/Window/X11/contrib/include/glib-2.0" respectively.
The "configure" script gives the following output:
sh ./configure

*** Could not run GLIB test program, checking why...
*** The test program failed to compile or link. See the file config.log
for the
*** exact error that occured. This usually means GLIB was incorrectly
installed
*** or that you have moved GLIB since it was installed. In the latter
case, you
*** may want to edit the glib-config script:

configure: error: scli needs GLIB
The config.log file shows:

running configure, to aid debugging if configure makes a mistake.

We can't modify the X11 windows environment because it's maintained by
the ITdepartment.
Question: Can anyone give us a hint what to do?
thanks in advance,
Diego Rios and Richard Bults
