I have trouble building the versions of lib/parser-smi.c and lib/parser-sming.c in SVN.
They would appear to have been generated by "GNU bison 1.35" and I have "GNU Bison 2.0" and it appears these generate incompatible files.
I had to delete those and have make recreate them.
I realise that they are there as a convenience to people who don't have bison, but there should be a way to remove them.
Maybe in the maintainer-clean target?
The same logic should apply to lib/scanner-smi.c and lib/scanner-sming.c

This sounds more like an issue with libsmi rather than the scli package itself. You may want to direct your message to the libsmi mailing list (I am not sure whether Frank who is maintaining libsmi listens here.)

He does. :-) I'll add some files to the maintainer-clean target (which I did not knew until today) and also clean up the lib/Makefile.am a bit.
