Hello,
Where do I stick my write community-password on the scli-commandline?
scli version is 0.2.12 on Debian Sarge (stable).

Scli does not support the idea of a read-community and a write-community. If you want to use different community strings for reading and writing, just define two sessions. You can use the scli alias mechanism to store the community strings in a ~/.sclirc file.
scli create alias "box-w" "scli open box private" scli create alias "box-r" "scli open box public"
When you run scli, you should be able to simply type "box-r" or "box-w" to switch between the two sessions. (Note that this trick also ensures that your community string is not visible on the command line.)
I assume this feature is already part of 0.2.12, but I am not sure. I guess it is time to release a new version since many things have changed since 0.2.12...
