The key themes of this workshop are two-fold: 1. Connected Vehicles: Based on short- and medium-range communications as well as on cellular networks, vehicular inter-networking will enable vehicular safety applications, efficiency applications and a multitude of other commercial or public authority applications. 2. Intelligent Vehicles: As vehicles are equipped with more sensing and computing capabilities, vehicles become more intelligent and are able to accomplish a number of challenging tasks including autonomous driving. We are currently witnessing the pursuit of high-performing, reliable, scalable, secure, and privacy-preserving connected and automated vehicle technologies, as well as associated mobility services. These ongoing innovations present an extraordinary challenge for the research community. The safety, real-time and security needs of vehicular systems and their application scenarios make the study of these systems both exciting and challenging. Goal-driven inter-disciplinary collaboration among the automotive industry and academic research community is increasingly seen as necessary. Furthermore, the connected and intelligent vehicle research field has been a very active field of research, development, standardization, and field trials. Throughout the world, there are many national and international projects in government, industry, and academia devoted to connected vehicles or autonomous driving vehicles. Many relevant industry standards and consortia are being created to prepare for the maturity of these emerging technologies. CarSys 2016 brings together researchers from these initiatives around the world to chart the way forward in this rapidly evolving field. Papers must be in PDF format, no longer than 8 pages (double-column), use the ACM SIG Proceedings Templates (http://www.acm.org/sigs/publications/proceedings-templates) and fit properly on US Letter-sized paper (8.5 inch x 11 inch) with reasonable margins. We also strongly encourage the submission of position papers or practice papers with a maximum length of 5 pages (following the ACM Proceedings Templates above). Position papers will generally include preliminary results and are expected to describe highly original ideas, discuss new directions, or generate insightful discussion at the workshop. The goal of the AOC 2016 workshop is to serve as a forum for researchers, professionals, application developers, and other experts from both academia and industry to exchange new ideas, discuss new solutions, and share their experiences. As with previous editions, this year's workshop is particularly interested in novel research directions, such as service co! mposition techniques, co-existence with infrastructure networks such solutions based on fog or edge computing, and insights from complex network analysis applied to autonomic and opportunistic communications. The workshop will solicit original papers addressing theoretical and practical aspects of autonomic and opportunistic communications as well as papers describing prototype implementations and deployments. Such drones are autonomous systems with a good awareness of their environment, provided by rich on board sensors, such as gyroscopes, accelerometers, lasers, GPS units and cameras, and embedded image processing. Nevertheless, all useful applications require a reliable communication link, or even rely on fleets of MAVs. DroNet welcomes contributions dealing with communication aspects of micro aerial vehicles, theoretical studies, algorithm and protocol design for flexible aerial networks, as well as mission-oriented contributions dealing with requirements, constraints, safety issues, and regulation. We are particularly looking for papers reporting on system aspects and experimental results, summaries of challenges or advancements, measurements, or innovative applications. MobileHealth is a workshop which provides a forum for the presentation of research and development covering aspects of mobile health monitoring, diagnostics and analytics that are essential to improve safety and efficiency in health care. The goal of the workshop is to bring together medical device specialists, including researchers, developers, and caregivers, from clinical environments, industry, research laboratories, academia, and government to identify and address challenges facing the design, manufacture, certification, and use of mobile devices and data for health care. MobileHealth 2016 will include presentations of experimental and theoretical achievements, innovative systems, prototyping efforts, case studies, and advances in technology related to wireless healthcare networking and systems. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to: Theme 1: Mobile architectures, platforms and networks for healthcare - Wearable and implantable hardware and computing - Body area networks - Energy efficiency - Wireless protocols - Sensors - Pervasive mobile platforms Theme 2: Data mining and analytics for mobile healthcare - Big data - Social networks - Privacy protection and data security - Data fusion - Machine learning - Control and spread of epedemics Theme 3: HCI for mobile healthcare apps - Wearable device interaction - Device management - Commissioning - User experience - Gamification and engagement - Accessibility SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS Submitted papers must not be published or under review for another workshop, conference, or journal. Authors should clearly identify how their considered topics relate to issues on wireless healthcare networking systems. Papers describing an overall working system are particularly of interest. All submissions will be handled electronically and must be in the ACM format and submitted as a PDF. Paper submissions for regular papers must be limited to 6 pages (US letter size, 8.5 x 11 inches) including text, figures, and references. The font size must be at least 10 points. Papers should be formatted according to the LaTex class file or the Word document template. Submissions should be made through EDAS. Accepted papers will be published in the workshop proceedings.
