I've tested streaming a radio station using two raspberry pis' on ad hoc mode and they seem to work fine, I want to create a multihop test though by using an intermediate node. So I started running the Babel, or BMX7 protocol for routing, and the stream is not going through (using the exact same conditions as before). Has anyone experience in running on an ad hoc network where protocols such as BATMAN, Babel, etc., are used?

Hello Dominic, I had the same problem. To try to solve my problem I compiled from source, I installed the program on my Raspberry Pi Zero W. I used the following links and following order. (Warning: This takes loooong time to compile, depending on the device power, but works!): 1. To compile and install the program I used the following link: https://github.com/ibrdtn/ibrdtn/wiki/Build-IBR-DTN#git-repository <https://github.com/ibrdtn/ibrdtn/wiki/Build-IBR-DTN#git-repository>. 2. Clone the project: git clone https://github.com/ibrdtn/ibrdtn.git ibrdtn-repo 3. Open the README file inside the cloned project folder: cd ibrdtn-repo/ nano /ibrcommon/README 4. Check the README file for the description of the required packages. Install the required packages. 5. Follow the instrunctions on link (1). If you get errors at the "bash autogen.sh" step, you missed installing some required package of the README file: cd ibrdtn-repo/ibrdtn bash autogen.sh ./configure make sudo make install 6. UDP Convergence Layer File Transfer

Hello All, I am having some issues transferring a file using dtnsend/recv in a simple two node test bed using UDP convergence layer. The nodes are configured for static routing and dtnping functions as expected. The issue I run into is when I attempt to send a file greater than ~130 KB and the result is the dtnrecv command doesn't close (the file is not successfully transferred) and I can see in my bundle storage area a total size of bundles just slightly less than my expected file size. The file size is specific because file sizes less than ~130 KB transfer just fine using the UDP convergence layer. I am wondering if there is an issue with UDP convergence layer as changing nothing in my configuration besides the convergence to TCP layer, fixes the issue. Any help would be appreciated. Disable archiving in IBRDTN

Hi all, I see that IBRDTN is internally archiving (using tar library) bundle payload before transferring it from the source, with a dtninbox/dtnoutbox mailbox setup. Even the tutorial page mentions that dtnsend can be used instead of dtnoutbox, but not before tarring the file (tar c <file> |dtnsend). The problem occurs when very small files are sent - I sent a file containing 3 bytes, and the bundle payload size both on the disk and on the wire went upto 10KB. Given that archiving may be useful only for packaging multiple files into one file, I was wondering if there is an option to disable archiving in IBR-DTN. Thanks and regards Vijay

ibrcommon --with openssl in Debian 9

Dear maintainers, I am trying to build a new image for my VMs, based on Debian 9, including IBR-DTN as usual, but the "make" aborts, likely for a version incompatibility with more recent OpenSSL versions (on Debian 9 I have OpenSSl 1.1.0f). Hello, I need to understand the code of dtnoutbox for research work, but the hash value of the files seams to change each time file is saved with no alteration. Shoul'dnt MD5 hash value remain if content is not changed?
