Some Questions about IBR-DTN errors

Hello, I have installed ibr-dtn-0.4.2 on two laptops. I just want two dtn-nodes exchange bundles when they are connected to the same network. The setting info is following : - tcp convergence layger - epidemic routing Just one difference between them is that one of them has two network interfaces. But, I don't think it makes any influence on the result. Hi. I would like to announce the next release of IBR-DTN. A highly extensible C++ implementation of a DTN daemon and tools based on RFC5050. This software is designed for embedded systems like RouterBoard 532A and has been tested successfully on several hardware (e.g. Embedded ARM TS7500, Intel Imote2, Ubiquiti RouterStation / RouterStation Pro). In contrast to earlier releases, this implementation has been revised completely to provide a Socket API interface, handle efficiently bundles up to 2 GB of size (and even bigger on 64-bit architectures). Currently we are working on DTN security support and an experimental version of a bundle storage based on SQLite is included. If you like to try out DTN with your OpenWRT Router, you will find binaries for x86 and ar71xx (mips) plattforms directly on the website. Stack Monitor

Hello All, I am new to IBR-DTN and I was wondering if there exists code for a stack monitor that would allow a user to see what DTN bundles have been received in memory? Also, is there a simple tool to manipulate the stack from the command line? This would be helpful for sending simple bundles for testing. Moin, kennt jemand von Euch die Maximale Größe von Nachrichten, die ich verschicken darf? Hat es schon jemand von euch ausprobiert? Mir stürzt der Empfänger immer ab, wenn ich eine zu große Nachricht empfange. Gruß Till

Guten morgen, ich habe gestern an einem 32 Bit Linux programmiert, an welchem ich mehrere Fehler und Programmabstürze bekam, hat jemand von euch die gleichen Erfahrungen gemacht? Ich hab das Problem nicht genau eingrenzen können, da bei gleichen Nachrichten unterschiedliche Fehler aufgetreten sind. Welche Unterschiede muss ich beachten zwischen 32 und 64 Bit? Da der Kern anscheinend keine Exceptions auffängt, sondern gleich der komplette Server abstürzt, wäre auch wichtig, wie ich das unterbinden kann? MfG Till Lorentzen

Hi, ich habe festgestellt, dass ich noch nicht in der Mailingliste war, daher hab ich mich angemeldet und stelle diese Frage jetzt nochmal, also kann meine noch nicht vom Mailinglistenverwalter freigeschaltete Mail gelöscht werden. Nun zur Frage: Ich habe eine weitere AbstractWorker Implementierung geschrieben, dabei ergab sich folgende Frage: Was passiert, wenn 2 Instanzen die gleiche uri verwenden? Bekommen beide die Nachrichten? Nur die Erste? Nur die Zweite? Oder völlig willkürlich? Und wie kann ich, wenn nicht alle Instanzen die Bundles zugestellt bekommen, erfahren, welche uri's schon belegt sind? MfG Till

Build issue

Hello I downloaded and built the ibr-dtn-0.1 implementation. While it successfully compiled, running it produced errors: dtnd: error while loading shared libraries: libibrdtn-utils.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory strace reveals that dtnd checks a number of locations for the libibrdtn-utils.so, but not the place where the make script installed it: /usr/local/lib/ I was able to work around the issue by making symlinks to the lib files in /usr/lib. I'm not sure if this was just my setup (a bare-bones install of Debian-5.0.2), but you might want to update your build scripts, if that's where the problem lies. Thanks Travis
