For example, future heterogeneous networks will integrate ad hoc and sensor solutions into wired and/or wireless fixed infrastructures. The integration of ad hoc and sensor networks together with the Internet and wireless infrastructure networks increases the network capacity, the coverage area and application domains. The interconnection of these networks must not only ensure the transport traffic between a source and a destination. However, this interconnection must keep on providing a very high quality of service and make various flows safe and secure. Carrying out these challenges requires the modification and/or the adaptation of some protocols. This conference is intended to serve as a forum for scientists and engineers in academia and industry to exchange and discuss their experiences and research results about all aspects of networks.
