Hello Razvan. Actually, the binaries are there. The script you have found is just a wrapper to set all the environment variables for pre-install execution. The binaries are located in subdirs named ".libs". For better portability I recommend to configure the packages with a dedicated install directory using the "--prefix" parameter. Once this is configured you can use "make install" to copy all necessary files into the given path. 64-bit installation

Hello, I was wondering if there have been any issues regarding installation of IBR-DTN on 64-bit computers. I've tried installing it on an 64-bit AMD computer running Debian and the ibrcommon library is not being found when trying to install ibrdtn. Specifically I get the error below during configuration. checking for ibrcommon... no ibrcommon library not found! Does anyone have any advice? I feel like its something simple like a missing library link. Carson

Router Extension Question

Hello again, I've been trying to make progress in creating a new router for IBR-DTN and came up against a wall in the actual inclusion to the main code. In main.cpp you have the code: case Configuration::EPIDEMIC_ROUTING: { IBRCOMMON_LOGGER(info) << "Using epidemic routing extensions" << IBRCOMMON_LOGGER_ENDL; router->addExtension( new dtn::routing::EpidemicRoutingExtension() ); break; } which I understand is adding the routing extensions to a list of extensions to use. I know this doesn't give you much to go on, but I feel like I haven't initialized something or added code some where else in the program to properly declare TorrentRoutingExtension and I was wondering if you had any insight into this. New Router Question

Hey, I'm fairly new to the IBR-DTN router and was working on creating my own routing protocol for it. I had a couple of questions and Brenton Walker suggested that I post them here. 1. Is there a way to get a block from a received bundle and split it up into several smaller blocks that I can then make into new bundles with new EIDs? 2. How does the bundle filter work? When we pull bundles out of it to transfer, are they removed from the database as well? I'm working on a data dissemination router and if there was a way to prevent that and maybe sequentially or randomly pull different data from the database as well, that would be useful. That's it for now in terms of questions, but I'm sure I will have more in the future. Thanks, Carson

Running dtnd and dtnsend

Hello, I am currently having trouble passing bundles between nodes on our system using dtnd and dtnsend or even successfully using dtnping. I have installed everything in the correct order (I believe), but dtnping and dtnsend just result in deleted bundles at the receiving node. Is there anymore documentation on how to use these programs correctly? I know they are connecting, because I can run tracepath and get the path between them, so I must be doing something else wrong. IBR-DTN discovery of a DTN2 node

Hello, I'm trying to make a DTN2 and a IBR-DTN nodes discover each other automatically but I'm having a hard time. Does the discovery of IBR-DTN nodes only work with other IBR-DTN nodes? If not so, can some one provide an example of configuration? UDP fragmentation

Hello all, I noticed that with a UDP convergence layer, I cannot send bundles more than ~1300B in size. Does IBR-DTN support fragmentation and reassembly? Would really appreciate any help on this. Thanks, Harsha

IBR-DTN OPENWRT

Hello IBR-DTN, I am working with OpenWRT and the access point LINKSYS WRT54GL. In OpenWRT repositories have the option to backfire and kamikaze (x86 and ar71xx). But the model works with the Linksys WRT54GL (BRCM-2.4 and brcm47xx). The package-0.6.0.tar.gz-ibrdtn found at: http://www.ibr.cs.tu-bs.de/projects/ibr-dtn/releases/openwrt/. It can usually be downloaded and installed the Linksys WRT54GL, since this package has no binaries? Greetings,
